Oh Jenny, I do hope that you will continue towrite for us all. I have posted a shortcut to your blog on my desktop, and have discovered DH, (who incidentally, spent some time in the Sinai)is also calling in each day to see what you have added. He is particularly taken by the faces in the markets, and laments that he did not get to socialise at the embassy in CAiro in 1983, only the one in Jerusalem. Meantime, I really enjoy the content, and the composition, of your efforts each day. Thank you so much,

Hi Jenny, Your descriptions of life in Cairo are so alive and multidimensional - I really love reading what you are up to and seeing your exquisite photos. Maybe one day I'll get to travel to Cairo and see for myself!!!
Thank you again Jenny for the fabulous photos. Its either an excellent camera or you have taken to photography with your usual artistic skill. I was interested in the embroidery on some of the clothing. We have just had a special exhibition on Palestine at the SA Museum and it included some brilliant embroidery. Quite fascinating.

Hi Jenny I've always wanted to visit Egypt and I've been able to get some glimpses of it through your blog. Really makes me want to include a visit when we go O/S next year, but I don't think we will have time (exploring Europe will be our focus). Your photos are wonderful and I enjoy a good pun!
